Thank you very much for the comments. I wasn't too happy with the result and almost didn't post it, but I'm so glad that I did now. It's easy to be overly self critical and miss the merits that others might see in a picture!

I first started painting in March 2017 after a starter box of acrylic paints had sat on my shelf for fifteen years. After sorting out the tubes that had dried up and buying a better selection of brushes, I finally jumped into this wonderful hobby and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
