Lovely treatment of the greens in the trees and bushes. I like the two little figures that draw the eye in. Super sunny painting (and it was cold and a bit miserable where I am today).

Hi Stephen, I know you like strong colours but I just wonder if the far trees on the right need cut back a bit and the base of the left hand trees darker and colder. The trees against the house are so good with their more muted colour and tonal design.

Sorry to add but I see Thea takes a different view loving the greens but that is Art. It is all a matter of individual appreciation.

Thanks Alan for your constructive thoughts, we do all read paintings differently, I've just looked at the original and the left hand trees look stronger. It is difficult to photograph watercolours and get the tones accurate.

After my last few pictures Stephen I understand the difficulty in getting lots of green to look interesting, you have plenty of interest in yours......as you always do.
