This painting depicts Canary Wharf in London, as seen from over the Thames in Greenwich. I was drawn to the simple geometric forms contained within the composition - strong verticals and horizontals within the railings and buildings - and the circular apertures in the railing panel. It was painted in water-mixable oils on 30 x 20 canvas.
