I love the lights reflected on both paintings ,great works of art!!:Linda

Thakyou Linda, so kind of you to take the time to look and comment

Another stunning painting. We have a similar scene here in Scotland of the 'Squinty Bridge' and the Clyde. I see it every night on TV as the BBC studios are right next to it and you see the scene behind the newsreader on the 10pm news. Always fancied having a go but I'm not brave enough to try it in watercolour LOL

Both your paintings are first class, and they are tough subjects to paint, especially in watercolour :)

Hi Val, thanks for your comments. If I were you I`d have a go.........and if it doesn`t work out you will have learnt alot from any mistakes that you made... what not to do next time, and how to avoid making the same mistakes again.........if you persevere, you will learn how to fix those mistakes. Just remember...it`s only a piece of paper, and you can always turn it over and use the back. Have fun and relax.....that`s what painting is all about. If you do have a go look for shapes, rather than "subjects", if you look closely, this painting is mainly a load of dots of light. ( thank goodness for masking fluid.lol) Sarah thankyou, I find watercolour easier to use than any other medium, I suppose I`ve had more mistakes in watercolour, so I`ve learnt more from those mistakes........ if you know what I mean....lol.
