I can see you have changed mediums, great as usual

Lovely unusual colours Satu!

This is great Satu! I love the colourful unusual approach. I've just got back from a walk around some of the Brighton Open Houses, lots of inspiration, I'm buzzing!

Wonderful result - so colourful and lively. I do like Jake Winkle's work so you were lucky to have him as your tutor.

A wonderful colourfull owl Satu just as I have gone into monochrome, :)

Lucky you attending a course by JW and a great result

Ditto what Michael has put Satu. Glad you had a good time :)

Thank you so much for liking and commenting on my Owl Petra, Ros, Christine, Thea, William, Michael and Sarah! Very much appreciated. JW is a wonderful tutor and I learnt so much in just one day.

It was certainly well spent. A very unusual and arresting approach which works really well!

This is super Satu! Love the colour scheme, makes for a vibrant and interesting painting.

This is great Satu, so different, glad you enjoyed your work shop.

Brilliant owl, in all senses of the word! Particularly love the eye

Satu; great. I look forward to your developing some more watercolours.

What a handsome, lovely bird. You're caught its spirit so well with this imaginative approach. Winkle's palette is simply too 'acid' for my taste, but you've toned it down and warmed it up to great effect.

Thank you very much for your comments Fiona, Karyl, Elizabeth, Gudrun and Kim!

Hi Satu, thanks for your lovely comment on my latest dog pet pastel pet portrait, really pleased that you like it and think it is a realistic rendition, i am pleased with how this one has turned out myself, i put quite a lot of work into this one and it is good to see that is being appreciated quite a few people, thanks again xx

This a lovely watercolour and an original angle to see the subject.

Hope your hospital treatment goes well - all the best Satu

Thank you Michael for your kind wishes. Satu

Lovely, Satu, but dare I say I find even more appealing your baby owl on facebook where you used acrylic too? x

Really like this so different, love the colours, Thank you so much for your comments on my drawings.

The result of yesterday's workshop run by the famous wild life artist Jake Winkle. We did Cliff Hoppers as starters and then owls for main course. He demonstrated his way of painting and after that we were left to struggle by ourselves. Of course he was there if somebody needed help. A wonderful day well spent!
