You adventurous thing you Satu! I can imagine all the colours and facets here. Meanwhile, I'm mooching around unable to start again - need a break I think.

Very good structure and balance Satu, and it does have a transparent look about the whole image.

Delighted to see this Satu! Love the energy, colour and well placed lines and shapes. It's all so well balanced which I think is instinctive, you know just where to place those blocks of colour and then the finer lines which pull it all together so well. That balance of shapes is what makes for a good abstract. I agree with you about how satisfying it is to pull off and abstract. It takes a bit of thought doesn't it and then there's those first few marks on the paper at which point you get a feel for it and just keep going. I'm thoroughly enjoying this different way of working, it's quite a revelation, even exciting which is what art should be. I can't keep doing the same type of work even if it is popular, I just have to try different ideas and I thank you for spurring me on!

I have never tried Abstract work - I probably don't understand enough about it, Satu! I like this piece , but I don't know why, if you understand what I am saying??? Good luck for your Exhibition, by the way!!!

Thank you Jennifer! I don't think that we have to understand abstracts more or less than the representational art. I personally don't need to know what the painter has meant, for me it's enough to enjoy what I see and admire the skill. Thank you for the good wishes too!
