This is my submission for the Royal Society of Portrait Artists Exhibition which I was lucky enough to be selected for. The image is hung quite high up, so the angle I took the picture from is not great. I will take a better one when I get the portrait back. My friends and family say I have been harsh with myself but I argue that is is an interpretation of my mood; after all anyone can take a picture. At the time I was recovering from ankle surgery and had been in plaster for 6 weeks.
