I must say Melanie that I am not usually keen on animal portraits but these are wonderful examples. As an ex technical drawing teacher I admire good draughtsmanship and you certainly have that. It is a pity that this isn't taught in schools as it once was - computers seem to have taken over. I am not a Luddite but I do look back on TD lessons with affection. I will also keep an eye open for more of your postings. Keep up the excellent work.

Hi Stuart, Thank you for such a lovely comment about my portraits! I am of an age where I remember my technical drawing lessons at school and thoroughly enjoyed them, one of the only classes I ever received top marks! :) It is a shame they don't teach it any longer, they seem to be removing many subjects these days from the curriculum that perhaps they shouldn't. Its lovely to be here and be connected with like-minded artists ! Melanie x
