Rebecca, your practice, patience and concentration is paying off....I liked your swan too.

I like the pansies, they have such pretty faces don't you think Rebecca?

You've really captured the purples in the pansies and the veining on the petals Rebecca, well done!

Hi Fiona :-) i am trying :-p but i am looking for photos of butterflies on the internet at the moment and birds, theres are so many different species i do not know about and the rspb is ok but not many actual photos, just illustrations. looking for plants too :-p photos seem to benefit me and help my paintings turn out a bit better, thanks so much for your lovely comments :-)

Hi Carole :-) Pansies are lovely yes :-) but i did not think these would be them as i am used to the yellow ones with black centres :-) i am looking for more photos for reference, thank you for commenting and looking at my paintings :-)

I am glad you think so Christine :-) i was thinking the veins need more practice as i thought they look a little artificial. i am looking at butterfly pics on natonal geographic at the moment to get more reference info :-)

A lovely painting Rebecca. You're getting better with each one!

Love this and when you use bright colours ( I love them). You are very prolific, and must get a lot of enjoyment out of what you do. Keep up the good work. Will browse some of your other galleries now.

Oh and thanks for the kind comments about my recent posts.

Hi Stephen :-) oh im so pleased you like the strong colours, so you would prefer paintings i create in strong colours rather than wishy washy? it is interesting to know :-) i do get a lot of enjoyment out of creativity :-) thanks for commenting and looking at my galleries :-)
