What a lovely idea Sarah! This painting would be so suitable: it's happy, sunny, interesting and fills your head with childhood memories with those hot summer days without a worry in the world. Good colours, great composition and I love that little chap with his stick.

A lovely summery piece, Sarah, and a very worthy cause!

Satu and Seok thank you for the lovely comments. This was a much bigger ,rectangle painting but I cropped it down and now I prefer the "square"format :)

fabulous idea Sarah :-) i love the scene, especially as it's made me giggle as it looks like the 2 children on the bridge are about to fall over it into the water :-p Pooh Sticks is such fun :-)

Rebecca! lol! I see what you mean! !! They are definitely concentrating hard on their game. Perhaps, i'll have to paint a sequel with them diving of the bridge LOL! Take care :)

Love this scene as well Sarah, gorgeous blue that you used pulls it all together and the children playing is so cheery and reminds us that winter does not go on forever, it just feels like it!

It cerrtainly feels like this winter will last forever Ros, it's just been snowing again :) Thank you for your comments ,I appreciate it :)
