This is lovely. Is it done in pointillism style?

I would have asked the pointillism question too! I use soft pastels a lot and could neer get on with oil pastels...but now perhaps I'll have another go. Lovely.

thanks for your comments. Yes it is very loosely done in that style but I use a textured acrylic base to work on
