Impression of Degas - Blue Dancers

A great interpretation of Degas. The vibrant colours in the background are great against the light colours of the frocks. I'm sure your grand daughter will be proud of it. Thanks for your comments to my posts, really appreciate them.

Like I said - I prefer your renditions to those of Degas anyway!

Something made me check your gallery and, lo and behold, I missed this from yesterday even though I was logged on quite a while. This site is getting busier and busier, it is easy to miss such a lot. Another fine Degas rendering. Love the orange against the blues ( opposites of course ) Your granddaughter will love it.

Thanks for your comments on my marrows in a barrow.Your work is great. I was at the National Gallery the other day and saw one of Degas' blue dancers. I had a go sketching the bather drying in graphite on site from the original. Thanks for showing us.
