Love it! Many fun hours ahead for you. I like your french easle better than mine. I've got the half size one and it's not very well made...hmmmmph.

You are surely going to enjoy yourself painting on a lovely easle and in the open air. Mine is a table one (so I'm stuck inside or have to use on my knees!)

Thank you for your comments Diane. I have tried to find you on the gallery without much success. The easel was made in France. I purchased on Ebay yesterday. It is very well made and sturdy. (came with a carry bag as well price including delivery £65 brand new). Which I thought wasn't bad - also able to carry your wet oil painting when finished is ideal.

Very nice work Jeannette ! Love your colours and composition.Have loads of fun with your new easle. I use the metal telescopic easels for painting outdoors. I even have a brick with holes in it to steady my easle if its windy when im out. It's just attached with strong string to the joining place on the top of the legs. I find it light easy to carry and i have a shoulder bag with all my materials in it. Ok the brick isnt light over a distance but i dont use it very often lol. I think you had a gr8 deal on that easle too Hmm £65 nice find.

Yes, I apologize for not having anything posted. All my great art intentions for the summer are slipping away as this has become the summer of taking care of my mother (85). In a nutshell, she became ill, was hospitalized, I put her in a home (more like a luxury hotel), and this morning I got a message that she is back in the hospital. Needless to say, I have redirected my energies toward this. I don't mind though, as she is a lovely person and the nice thing about painting is that it will wait patiently....
