Of the three this one is my favourite of these excellent portraits. I assume you start with a blank screen and then paint as normal ....

Thanks for the positive comments everyone! I'm so pleased you like my work :) Gudrun Ståhl Sharpley, yes, I use a similar process to traditional when working digitally. Start with a blank screen as you said, then draw a rough outline and block in base colours/values. Then I paint as per normal, using "brushes" that give similar marks to traditonal oils. Digital just allows me the ability to zoom in for details I couldnt see in a traditional painting. That and no clean up lol.
