Michael, this is fantastic! Can't imagine how long it must have taken. Painstaking detail even in the distance. And Shibden Hall ... could almost be there!

Hi Ian It took about two days, if you saw it close up it's pretty loose. Shibden Hall took a bit longer, because I made an underpainting. Thanks for taking a look.

Great painting - so much detail but you have kept it harmonious by the repetition of colour and the limiting of your palette.
