Great use of washes Michael

As Michael has said, lovely clean washes here Michael. The stream leads nicely into the scene, a good sense of distance and the slightly brooding sky gives an authentic atmosphere.

Like this and like the Scottish Lochs for me this painting has the atmosphere captured wonderfully.
