This is perhaps my favourite of all - it's a simple subject yet it's not. Can't quite explain it but I like looking at it. Touch of the Andy Warhol's perhaps.

This is a brilliant bit of photo realism Mathew, and speaks volumes actually, if this is you when u r shattered then u have absolutely no worries! Most of us could not make such a super job of painting a piece of rubbish when we were wide awake!

Well absolutely weary tonight after a pretty busy day at work. I really didn't know if I'd actually be able to do ANYTHING tonight, especially as I had to go out shopping as soon as I'd eaten after work. Not a lot of time to be creative then tonight, so I tried to do an impressionistic oil sketch of a crushed Coke can, thanks to inspiration from friend Choky at work yesterday. Its done on Winton canvas textured paper measuring approximately 28 x 20cms. Quite thick application of paint for me. It could be worse considering my state this evening!
