Avebury has a magnificent stone circle encompassing the village. It was a very hot July day so, I only took a few photographs and singled out this particular stone which caught my attention. Still practicing landscapes in watercolour. Although I’ve used some acrylic paint for the first time on top of the watercolour to try and bring out some of the grass which I thought was a little flat.
