Shows the knowledge Malcolm lovely

Really appreciate that Dennis thanks.

Looks scary, good drawing Malcolm.

Thanks Fiona, yes some mountains can be scary, they should all be treated with respect, but for me in the end they are all beautiful and what I have lived for since I was about 15 years old (I read a history book to make sure :))). All that people going on hills and mountains should remember is that no one ever conquers a mountain, it is that on that day the mountain allows you to get to the top.

You're right about the respect element Malcolm, I've just heard on the local news that there are a pair of climbers missing on Ben Nevis, the rescue service had to abandon the search due to 80mph winds and avalanches. They are reported to be very experienced climbers.

I like your subject and the way you sketched it! (You should come to join one of our free plain air painting days in Austria! See FB: IWS Austria for reference)

Thank you for your comments and information Christof much appreciated.
