Wow, Malcolm: a drawing with a story. Great!

Thank you for that Mia much appreciated, generally my work is always based on places I have been and I always try to learn about the areas were possible.

A wonderful wild vista Malcolm. Like yourself, I like to research the history of a place or subject that I’m painting or drawing. Not sure whether that makes me do a better job of it?! You’ve done fantastic work on this to make it feel of the time and the harshness of the location.

Thank you so much for that Fiona, your comment made me feel that I had really achieved my aim with the drawing, thank you.

Wonderful drawing, they must have been strong in mind and body Malcolm.

Thank you Carole I appreciate your comments as always and yes I cannot even imagine what it was like to do the work those men and boys did in those days.
