Sunset Frensham Big Pond, watercolour 12x8"
This was done virtually all En plein air sat above the big pond at Frensham in Surrey, it was an incredibal evening and I was lucky enough to get some photos and colour sketches done as well as the majority of the painting. It was one of those times when you could believe all was well with the world. There was a slight mist appearing on the far shore among the reeds. This was the area they used to film the attack on the lakeside womens village in Snowwhite and the Huntsman and I was lucky enough to be there at the time and see the machines making the mist on the water and the structures they had built, the only downside was it did have an impact on people being able to walk in certain areas.
