Lovely painting. Is this before or after it lost 30' of snow off the top?

thank you for the kind comments to one and all. The photo I used for this painting was taken just prior to the collapse but the height quoted is the current measurement. Mountains had always functioned as solid edifices in my mind prior to this - apparently not so and all the more reason to stay terra firma. ( the more firmer and the less terror)

Mt Cook at 3724 metres is the tallest mountain in NZ. Found in the South Island as the highest peak in the Southern Alps. Popular climbing area and has claimed a few lives. Recently lost a few metres off the top. On half sheet paper
