Lovely colours

Good feeling of recession here Mike, works well.

Lovely mood to this one Mike, gorgeous colours too. Nice painting.

Nice spontaneous work Mike.

Great feeling of depth and subtle use of clean colour. I can certainly see the appeal of this scene. There's so much space in this striking, yet serene, panoramic view. Brian

Great scene - beautifully painted in fresh watercolour

Hope this gets you started again Mike, sounds as though you had a busy year. Super watercolour, the foreground is magic.

It looks marvellous Mike!

Really like it Mike. You've certainly made it very appealing. Very glad that you got the needed rain without the weather bomb that affected so much of the Nth Island. The rain we got down here was welcome but much of the good will have been undone by yesterday's gale force winds. You'll enjoy retirement, I do, it will give you lots more time to produce your lovely paintings.

my thanks to all for the kind comments - just feels great to have the brushes in use again.

I like it very much!

A grey day but there is something about this subject that has appealed enough for me to want to paint it. This is purely paint - not a pencil mark on the paper and I have enjoyed doing it. First water colour in 3 months
