Are you turning into a painting a day artist Louise! This one is very good anyway, lovely colour work

I think this one is a lot more 'organised' than the previous two - possibly you have planned a bit more with this one? I can see how this theme is evolving with the shapes of the leaves being a little more defined now and there is also more light flooding through the lighter parts of the painting. I also really like the addition of textural marks which add a lot of interest. I find it very interesting that you take a subject and then really explore it and each work you produce it subtly different from the one before. Another excellent painting which reflects your knowledge of colour and your design sense.

Thanks Ros and Thea. Ros, I actually do paint every day but quite a few end up in the bin. When I get going on a new theme, there's no stopping me! Shopping beckons today though so I might have to have a day off. lol. Thea, I'm really enjoying using the inks with watercolour, something that I haven't done before.

So many pleasing aspects to your paintings - your intelligent composition, your lovely palette and your great sense of design.

Hi Louise, thanks for admiring my latest dog pastel portrait of 'Jinty' pleading to get back inside, i did take quite some time over those eyes!

Love this abstract painting of berries Louise.

Love this painting Louise, great colours as usual

Many thanks Beverley, Carole and Petra. Petra, my colour choice has come about because I only have two colours of ink, black and sepia!.. ..lol. Must buy some more

Just seen your three berry paintings of which this one is my favourite, maybe because it is slightly more structured than the other two. I love using clingfilm in watercolours and you've worked with it brilliantly in these three and such a lovely palette as well.

You are on a roll. I can feel your excitement in the paintings. Gorgeous.

Lovely work Louise .

Thanks Val, Gudrun and Denise!

Not sure which one is my favourite but I love 'em

Lovely work Louise and very different

Typical of me, I can't seem to leave the subject alone. This is today's version. 14 in x 10 in. watercolour plus ink.
