You have created a lovely soft painting Lorraine, combining the two cats perfectly. I have tried velour paper and struggled. Did you use soft pastels or pastel pencils?

Thanks for all your nice comments. Chris I have used both soft pastels and pencils for finer details. The soft pastels are used very lightly and lengthwise just brushing lightly on the velour paper.

Love the facial expression of the grey cat especially like he might be just about too pounce on someone or something, they are a lovely pair
