Two lovely paintings Lisa. The rocks are really well done, did you use a knife to get the texture? Figures are brilliant and there is areal sense of the sun lighting up the dunes.

Marjorie, no I didnt use a knife, i used a large flat brush, thick paint and put it on quickly, with the greys and blues, then when dry I scraped on the highlights with a piece of card. Sometimes I think theres an element of luck when it turns out ok.
