Hello Kevin Looking at your gallery, I can't help but think that you tend to overuse shades of white, grey and black. For instance, when you see elephants in the wild, they cover themselves in brown dust . Even when they plunge into a lake, they will cover themselves with mud. You can easily apply a tint to your greys, by diluting another colour with acrylic medium and painting this thin transparent glaze over the top. I hope this helps, I do not wish to offend. Hi linda, I enjoyed reading your comment. I'm always learning everyday. I did decide initially to put mud on the elephants, but decided to keep the elephants clean but in future I will put mud on the elephant to give realistic look. Thanks for your feed back
