Lovely still life painting Kay, just one small point if I may, I think your jug is actually copper and not brass, but still a fine piece of work.

Aha Norman you may be correct there, now I look at it. There is some brass on it though, around the middle and the handle :-) but well pointed out!

Oil on canvass 20" x 16". Loved the old brass jug - took me right back to my childhood when nearly every home had these as ornaments on the window sill - dent and all! The other elements of the composition are nothing new but it makes for a nice gentle still life, I think :-)
