Little Exmoor Tree

I just love these textures and layers - very effective and beautiful!

This is beautiful, Karen, so atmospheric and beautifully composed.

Thank you both very much, I really like this too which is quite unusual for me! I will be glad when I can get down to Exmoor again, I seem to need the inspiration top up about three times a year.

Great sky, tree, foreground - just can't quite read the grey shapes in the foreground, and on the brow of the hill to the right of the tree; they don't look to me like natural forms, and they distract the eye.

I think its the heavy texture Robert, it never photographs as well as I would like it to, they look much cleaner in the flesh. It may of course be my fairly poor photographic skills!! Pleased to say that I have just had two accepted for this years RI exhibition in March at the Mall Galleries.
