Lovely arrangement of shapes and colours here Julie. Well painted and the reflections are great. I have a flask like that and an oxo cube tin and probably some apples too. I think that wood panelling in the background really shows of the arrangement.

Great, stirring up memories, whats next, pears soap, brillo pads, beech nut chewing gum!!!!

You've set the nostalgia going now Julie. Very well painted too.

Great painting Julie very beautifully painted, well done

Interesting still life Julie, very colourful.

Thank you for all the lovely comments - this may well spark another painting of some more of my bits and pieces!

There are some great textures here. I admire your working of acrylics which I find pretty difficult to blend Diana

Superb and beautiful Julie

Beautifully painted, Julie. (Love the Oxo tin, makes a really lively composition.)

Everything here looks so very real Julie - I could just bite into that apple!

I agree with all the previous comments Julies, it's a super still life and really interesting objects.

Hi Julie I missed this. one has the feeling you could walk around the items. I love that jug.

What a gorgeous piece, Julie! Brimming with nostalgia, wonderful use of shapes and space. I just love the compositional elements in all your paintings, and this one does not disappoint in the least. Fabulous work!

I put together a simple still life arrangement of some of my bits and pieces, and painted it in acrylic on Daler Rowney mixed media paper.
