Thank you Nancy. I did this from a photograph that I saw in a book of old photographs from Victorian times.

Translating a monochromatic (black&white) photograph from the past into a coloured painting of today, feels like an adventure, doesn´t it?

This puts me in mind of Helen Allingham book illustrations. Nicely done.
