This is really good! Such an unusual subject but it has all the right ingredients- you feel led into the picture and the muted colour palette is just right.

Spotting this woman at Chicago airport last year made me realise what an anxious traveller I am. She was so engrossed in her crossword/puzzle and so relaxed. I typically have my eyes glued to the departures board or I pace up and down restlessly. Flying is not an enjoyable experience for me, but I guess we're all made differently! Oil on canvas board, palette knife.
