The first time I came to the West, I was pretty disappointed to see so many people living on the street. I expected it would be much more different when I left India. I found that only the contrast is much more striking . Here, with these skyscrapers everywhere, starving people on streets are just being the prominent evidence of income inequality. One day I was walking down the street and I saw a homeless guy and his dog sleeping under a ragged blanket. The guy had a peaceful expression on his face. Then I realised may be in this materialistic world he has got something which is actually pure, truly unconditional.
