I so agree with Lewis and Jim. Sad old boats abound around UK, also here on Gozo and Malta. Beautifully portrayed, great work!

Thanks all for your comments. Jim, I found those “perfect lines” very hard to get right (what is it about boats that makes them hard to draw) and they remain not quite so perfect!

This rusty old boat lies in the harbour at Portsmouth. It doesn't look very seaworthy and probably hasn't been afloat for quite some time. Gouache on w/c paper 20x20cm.
