This is gorgeous the colour and the texture really shows.

Perfect, can almost smell it..

What beauty to come back to from holiday Carole. Beautifully painted.

So well painted Carole, not easy with all those petals. A beautiful rose.

Delicious painting of a very beautiful rose Carole.

Really nicely done Carole, love the way you have captured the folds in the petals and the couloration on the leaves, nice one.

A gorgeous red rose Carole. Red flowers are a curse to paint in watercolour. It needs patience and the right colours. So well depicted!!!

You are so professional Carole, this is just perfect, lovely velvety petals and the leaves are so real. Gorgeous!

Pure velvet Carole, so clever to create that texture.

I am so grateful for your encouragement, it means so much to me. The plant has beautiful multi petals but does not like the rain it goes brown immediately this was one I rescued and thought I would have a try to paint it. I find roses so difficult so your comments are a real treat;)

You could have fooled me Carole - a wonderful rose.

Lovely and vibrant Carole. That is a bright red.

Watercolour and ink. A rose plant I bought from Chatsworth a few years ago.
