Amazing Fiona, it's a lovely painting :)

Another little triumph Fiona, I still like the inclusion of that little section of fence.

Beautifully done, Fiona! Wonderful use of lines to move the viewer's eye around.

Can't get enough of your watercolour landscapes Fiona beautiful

Very wonderful painting and tuneful composition in colours and shapes.

This works very well Fiona. Nice sky and the penwork on the distant hill also works, which is surprising as I find a pen line too strong in the distance, perhaps it's the broken quality of the line. As others have said, the directional lines on the road invite us into the composition.

Maria, Malcolm, Seok, Dennis, Cesare, Stephen many thanks once again for your very kind words. It's a scene I keep doing in one form or another, I think acrylics is the only one I haven't used for this view. I expect it's going to be done many more times especially in the winter....from behind glass!lol

Another competent and loose watercolour of a scene that I am becoming familiar with. Excellent palette Fiona.

Lovely light touch to this one Fiona

A nice moody painting works well I do like line and wash Fiona .

Thank you Alan, I hope you continue to enjoy the view. Many thanks David, very kind of you. Dennis, me too, I'm getting quite hooked on pen & wash. Thanks very much Ruthy, much appreciated.

Such a simple palette, yet so effective! I love the looseness of your style Fiona.

The colours of Scotland Fiona! Lovely.

Beautiful pen and wash Fiona.

Watercolour and pen 24"x 16" more or less the same view as one posted a while ago using a slightly different palette. the addition of V. red. The light wasn't as strong with no patches of sunshine on the hills.
