I don’t think there is any particular element of the painting that I can say stands apart Stevan...it’s all brilliant! Bags of atmosphere and skilfully painted.

A lovely example of how beautiful a limited palette can be. I particularly like the washes in the sky, and the mist is very effective. Super work, Stevan.

An art club project was for the members to create an under water picture for critique. I figured a twist on the brief would be appropriate and as such decided to paint st Michaels mount under a rain storm. The gesso waves are very much a Micael Morgan device which I'm pleased with and I also quite like the receding land separated by mist.
