I think this has a unique style about it which I like very much. It has a slightly oriental feel to it but unmistakably English too. Love the sky and foreground and that stand out blossom (of course).

There is great depth in this painting and the vibrant foreground is magical. I love the way you have painted the tree and I agree with Heather it gives the painting a slightly oriental feel.

The ancient field divide at Wycoller have long held a fascination for me. To come across this small group with a spindly hawthorn in full flower was a scene that had to be painted.
