Very good, Diana. Do I detect a worried glint in his eye? Will you leave it now or maybe carry on?

Thank you Shirley. Bin it 😄😄

Oh dear! 😊💐

A well executed portrait. I like the way he is looking up too , which must be hard to do.

Leave it as it is Diana, it's great. I dislike and don't see the point of posed photographic portraits and would much rather see something like this with character. Good attempt.

I think you have caught him, it's the look of desperation. Excellent.

I think this is a really great portrait of Boris - I'm sure he has lots of moments like this!

You’ve done a grand job Diana. Not an easy task but I like his expression of confused bewilderment, his usual demeanour.

Both are excellent portraits. The drawing just edges it for me, but that's because I like drawings. The painted version does have a worried look...he ought to have one...like the rest of us. Superb work as usual, Diana.

I really like this - the angle is great and it shows a vulnerability we don't always see.

Thank you for your encouraging comments. It was fun to see all the classes portraits and as Jim said, they were all so different and full of character. Never has a class image created so much ‘interest’

Very good portrait. Diana.

I prefer the drawing but it is still a good painting though.

Don't bin it! I think you are being very harsh on yourself Diana- you've done a wonderful job.

That's a great portrait but I think you've caught a vulnerability in the drawing which doesn't quite come through in the painting. I just wish someone would drag him off to a decent barbers/hairdressers then perhaps he'd appear less like a buffoon!

Thank you everyone who posted a comment. I really appreciate it. The drawing was definitely a better effort which I was pleased with as my drawing has been a bit neglected lately By the way , I love the word buffoon!

The drawing was better than the painting. My excuse being that we only have s short period of time to complete it. ??
