Beautifully painted, Diane!!

It's lovely Diane as is all your work

Inspiration everywhere Diana! Nicely done as ever.

Lovely work, Diana. These curious creatures fascinate me, and they are fascinated by my hostas.

Just lovely Diana.

A great snail Diane. They do get everywhere don’t they!

What a charming scene. Love it Diana.

I have had exactly same experience with my watering can! But I threw the offending snail into the school grounds at the bottom of my garden. Well done you for being inspired and producing such a good result!

Clever you- lovely watercolour!

Excellent painting even though, I would long jump over them.

He looks a lot better on your waterford then in my garden! Excellent as always.

Beautifully painted Diana, you can always find inspiration in the unexpected.

Thank you David. It was the perfect model. Thank you Heather. It’s been too hot to concentrate so this little sketch was just enough Thank you Tessa. You’re right, there certainly is. Thank you Lewis. They seem pretty hardy too !! Thank you Rikke. Those beautiful colours on its shell grabbed my attention. Thank you Spencer. I would have expected it to have died in this heat. Thank you Carole. Snail shells are one of natures beauties. That made me laugh Linda. It amazes me how they can glide along on bone dry surfaces. Thank you Christine. It started as a sketch but I wanted to try some new brushes I got at Patchings. Denise, you amused me !! Thank you.

Glad you like it Faye and thank you Thanks Collette. I’ve no idea where it went 😂 Thanks Ellen it was the colours that caught my attention

Fantastic, Diana. A real eye-catcher!

A perfect watercolour.

Thank you Mia . It’s been too uncomfortably hot to do much painting so a quick sketch was enjoyable. Thank you Valerie. It started as a sketch but who could resist those glorious colours.

Lovely colours and tones. Very well captured.

Thank you David. It actually moved rather quickly for a snail

I found this inside my watering can spout. Took me a while to work out why there was no water coming out. I’m not too logical sometimes 😂 7x13’’ watercolour on Saunders Waterford paper . Scribbled it out with pen then got carried away with watercolour washes
