I have had exactly same experience with my watering can! But I threw the offending snail into the school grounds at the bottom of my garden. Well done you for being inspired and producing such a good result!

Thank you Lewis. They seem pretty hardy too !! Thank you Rikke. Those beautiful colours on its shell grabbed my attention. Thank you Spencer. I would have expected it to have died in this heat. Thank you Carole. Snail shells are one of natures beauties. That made me laugh Linda. It amazes me how they can glide along on bone dry surfaces. Thank you Christine. It started as a sketch but I wanted to try some new brushes I got at Patchings. Denise, you amused me !! Thank you.

I found this inside my watering can spout. Took me a while to work out why there was no water coming out. I’m not too logical sometimes 😂 7x13’’ watercolour on Saunders Waterford paper . Scribbled it out with pen then got carried away with watercolour washes
