Now you mention it, I can see Shirley's influence here - I have one of her prints (iris's). However, your painting is excellent - very loosely done, just as daffs should be.

Lovely fresh and loose, love how you have them all facing different ways Debs.

ps, I can see the influence particularly the cut off bottoms ;o))

Where was I when you posted this Debs! I don't know, maybe down to those multiple posters eh! Just a word to say thanks for you comment on my latest dogs face portrait, the Rottweiller, that was a first for me a panting dog, more or less pulled it off I think! Love your Daffodils, the use of washes in the painting is great, as are the colours you used and the leaves and blue sky background, really lovely attractive painting
