This is really lovely Debs, great composition

This has so much atmosphere, Debs - the ballet dancers up in their garret learning their trade. The monochrome with the touches of red compliments the scene wonderfully and the dancers are beautifully graceful and very well drawn as well.

Very nicely drawn and painted figures, its a very complicated image really with the figures against the window. I would have thought the figures would have been much darker against the light of the window but that would have made them hard to see, tricky.

Lovely painting Debs. I like the fact that you haven't gone very dark in the places where you could have because I think that would've detracted from the graceful / gentle feel to the painting

Paul's got a good point there, I suppose as artists we don't have to be too factual.
