Nicely painted, but my eyes cannot find a focal point, what is the white shape in the middle. May I also suggest that you only post one at a time? . If you do a multiple posting you knock eveyones painting off in one go . Also as you have so many you are knocking your own off and they are not there long enough to be seen.

Love your reflections and the lily pads are great - nice depth to this work

This is not the best quality photo of this painting - I was trying to capture the reflections of clouds and trees on a large pool with lily pads . it was a very bright day and the reflections were very strong. The focal point is the fountain. Thanks for the advice on multiple posting - I'm new at this!

Cheryl, I liked this one best in your allery - the reflections are lovely and I think I would make this area the focal point by darkening behind the house perhaps, love the fountain too - I did it on its own but think it got the bin (waterclour mess!). Lovely gardens to visit and paint in and we all posted too many first time using the gallery :)

Hi Cheryl, - the fountain and reflections are very good and I agree are the focal point. It looks a difficult scene to paint and I feel you made a good job. Specially like your trees in "Ducks On Canal".

Thanks Shayne - I just got lost in the reflections in the pool and forgot I needed a focal point! This painting took me a long time and I nearly gave up half way through but I'm glad I carried on as it is a personal favourite even with its imperfections!!
