Chas, I think this is a cracker and would rate it towards the top of your paintings that I have seen. "Whispering Solitude" would be my choice as a title - the quiet ripples just being heard within the quiet ambience of the scene. If it was mine - I would be hanging on to it - definitely " within the Artist's collection" It's a beaut.
