Your perspective is better than Bob Ross's ever was --- it's quite interesting that you've tried his method in acrylic, and achieved a result which certainly betrays his influence, if in a very different medium. To be honest, I would not make Bob your guide - the big brush method he employed tends to produce trees and foliage which are recognizable as Bob Ross trees, but not as any species known on earth; he used a stippling method for speed on camera - in reality, this is very difficult to control and not an ideal method of painting foliage. But then, you don't always use this method, I see - so I expect you know this and are just expanding your repertoire of techniques.

I attempted to paint this in the style of the late great Mr Bob Ross but using acrylic on canvas board. I love the winter and enjoy attempting snow scenes. My next step is to paint from my own photos, when I find somewhere with plenty of snow lol.
