My immediate impression - and of course you can read these drawings in so many ways - is that there's a giant fish, like a grouper, tucked away in the depths, You continue to divide opinion here! There are those who think I'm losing my mind by enjoying your work, but there we are: I probably am losing my mind, but not I think for this reason.

It's interesting that we look for something recognisable in your work. I can also see Robert's giant fish here which probably came about by chance! I like your work as well, the reason being, as I mentioned before, just for the energy of the drawing and because I have to look closely at each one. For me, they are more than just scribbles, they all have a certain something about them which is difficult to put in to words. They are all unique and certainly different. Divided opinion is a good thing in my book, we all see things differently.

Thanks for your comments! I think everyone brings a personal history to everything we see, and in what ways it comes forward as an object or idea is very interesting to me. For me, abstract drawing and painting challenges my and the viewer's memory, conscious and unconscious, in surprising ways, revealing sometimes a very new perception (and in that, the process of perceiving).
