For a painting that has used three colours I particularly dislike, this has worked so well.. pity you didn't include a Buzzard for them to mob.

Thanks, I think! Do you specifically dislike lime, emerald or sap green? I admit, I'm more of a blue kind of chap, certainly football wise! Lyndhurst is more mobbed by jackdaws (and tourists in search of tea - so 'little' choice!!), their call reminds me of holidays in the Lakes.

Glad I’m not alone in my liking of this fabulous bird Richard. Your fine fellow here is beautifully observed and I think the format is great.
