Thank you for the comments. It's difficult to know whether one has achieved ones aim without objective views. I use the Neocolor II to try to retrieve watercolours that I think have failed or to help me find where I'm going with them. They can be tricky though since they are water soluble; trial and error is the best way to get used to them.
