This just jumps off the page at you. Your ability to do lots of detail and still keep it looking loose and free is amazing. Also your colour sense is spot on and a real gift. Brilliant! How long did it take you to do this painting?

You are all so kind with your lovely comments, thank you. Thea, it took me just over a week working 2 to 4 hours a day. Always stopped by 4.30 due to light and it being time for a cuppa with a home-made scone!

Thanks for your nice comments for my birds painting, Avril. I think I need to improve the way of photographing the painting. It does not show the full range of colour..Also congrats to you made the top ten too.
