European Kestral in coloured pencil on pastel paper from a photograph by Gillian Merritt (free reference photographs for artists). I found this quite hard as I drew it on a piece of pastel paper that I had spare (not having any of my Pastelmat paper left) but I think I should have used pastels on it instead as it was hard to get the layering right on it with the pencils. Anyway I persevered and this was the end result.
